A Late October Walk Into The Woods

Welcome and come with me for a walk in the woods.

Into the woods a scurrying  I heard.  Before I knew it a table appeared.

It was laden with teaware, a little sp00ky,  I fear!!

A part of a cookie was all that was left, but the tiny woodland creatures were enjoying that!

The tea was still warm, the teacup half full, as though someone left very swiftly I'm sure!

The wind started howling and lighting struck quick.  As fast as I could I fled from the woods!

Before I knew it I awoke from my nap.  Hoping I'd never dream again about that!!

Thank you for walking with me in the woods!

I will be joining the following parties this week:  Tea Time Tuesday,  Friends Sharing Tea, and Share Your Cup Thursday.

OOOH! Your tea time in the woods gave me the shivers! But it also looked like such fun! I just came inside from a quick walk down our road, which is in the woods, and we heard something rustling in the bushes. I hollered out, "who goes there?" Don't know what I would have done if something had answered....I clapped my hands and said to whatever, whomever...You get back in the woods where you belong! After we returned to the house (my big strong brave husband was with me...but you'll notice I'm the one doing all the talking...LOL), anyway, as soon as we came inside our son came driving into the yard and said, "Did you see that little bear crossing the road not far from the house?" I said...."No, but I bet that's what I just heard..."
Sad, today was the beginning of bear hunting season again here in Florida. First time in 20 years. I have a feeling this little bear is running scared. I don't blame him.
I enjoyed your tea time...sorry about running on about my experience...It's still a bit fresh on my mind! Happy Fall, sweet friend!

Ah, tea time in the woods; what a novel idea! Anytime in the woods sounds like fun to me. You did go to a lot of work on our account and thank you for it. I can just hear the crunching of the leaves under your feet as you set it all up. Thank you for sharing, Nancy, and have a lovely week, my friend.

Hi Nancy,
Thank you for stopping by. My new party is also open to tea parties. I just thought it was a good time to change things up a bit. I have been hosting tea parties for almost six years and sometimes I was at a loss as to what to share. There have been times too when I felt my blog was getting a bit stale. I have even considered shutting down the blog for a while and taking a long sabbatical but I really didn't want to do that. So, I decided a new party which welcomes all aspects of home would be a nice change for everyone. I would be ever so happy to have you continue to link up your teas when you have the time. Enjoy your grandchildren and have a lovely day, my friend. I do appreciate your friendship.

Autumn blessings,
Sandi
