Thanksgiving Dishes

Hello and welcome!  For tea this week I thought I would share my seasonal dishes  that I like to use around Thanksgiving time.

I used an afghan for the table covering.  I love the Bible verse!

I've had the next two turkey plates for years.  Wish I could fine more of them!  The large turkey   is called "Turkey", by W.R. Midwinter, Burslem, England.

The next plate is by Maruta Ware, Japan.

I found two of these plates and a platter last summer at a thrift store.  No markings on the back.

My Mom made the turkey in ceramic class years ago.

The teapot is named "Chantilly", made by Furnival & Son.

Thanksgiving in America will be here soon, and I am so thankful for all my friends who read this blog.  Wishing you all a wonderful blessed Thanksgiving day!

I will be taking a blogging break for a few weeks and hope to be back in December for the Christmas season.

I will be joining Tea Time Tuesday and Friends Sharing Tea, this week.

A November Tea By The Fire

Hello and happy November to you!  I am so happy you can join me for tea today!  It is windy and cold out, and I just came inside from the outdoors tucking my gardens in for the winter.  I need a cup of hot tea to warm me up!

The tray table is by the fireplace waiting for me, so I grabbed an old magazine, brewed a cup of  Harney & Sons Hot Cinnamon Spice Tea, and now I am ready to sit a spell and relax.

The teacup is unmarked and I found it at a resale store.  I thought the orange flowers pretty for a fall day.

It has been in the low 40's all week and looks like it will be that way or colder from now on.  A busy time for the tea kettle!

.

Thank you so much for stopping by.  Hoping where you live you can stay warm!

I will be joining the following parties this week:  Tea Time Tuesday, A Return To Loveliness, Friends Sharing Tea, Teacup Tuesday, Tuesday Cuppa Tea,  and Show and Tell Friday.
