Tea At The Farm Garden

Hello and welcome!  Happy last week of August!  We have been at our little farm for a few days and I enjoyed a tea by my flower garden.

Lots of white flowers blooming!  Hydrangea's, Shasta daisies, tall Phlox, and the spears of Boarman's Root.

I like the look of the vintage tablecloth with the colors of the tea set  and chair.

I bought the floral tea set a few years ago at a Ross store while traveling south.  Only $9.99 for the teapot,  four cups and saucers, and the sugar and creamer!

The little angel was a thrift store find.  She was painted with very bright colors and I spray painted her a soft white.  Shall we say a prayer before we have tea?

I hope you enjoyed tea time today!

Thank you so much for visiting and have a great week!

I will be joining the following parties:  Make It Pretty Monday, A Return To Loveliness, Tea Time Tuesday, Tea In The Garden, Teacup Tuesday, Tuesday Cuppa Tea, Share Your Cup Thursday, and Show and Tell Friday.

Tea And A Visit To Garden Fairyland

Hello everyone, I hope you all had a wonderful weekend!  I am so glad you could join me for another outdoor tea!  I set the tea table by the arbor in front of my lavender Clematis.  In the background is my potting shed and four square garden.

Everything on the tea table are thrift store treasures!

The teacup trio  is unmarked and also the teapot.

Pretty bluebirds come for tea!

After we finish our tea would you like to take a stroll in the yard with me?  Did you know I have garden fairies living among my flowers?  Come with me and let's see if we can find them.

A couple of little fairy homes.

Fairy garden in a old wash tub.

Do you see the garden fairy running through the lavender and creeping jenny?

Another sweet garden fairy enjoying the flowers!

Fairy garden in a old wheelbarrow.

Fairy babies snuggled among the Ladies Mantle.

A little garden fairy daydreaming.

Lastly, I had to share this one!  No, she is not a fairy, but a red squirrel peeking at us!  One thing for sure, you never know what you'll find in my yard!

Thank you so much for coming to tea and seeing a little bit of my fairyland!

I will be joining the following parties this week:  Make It Pretty Monday, A Return To Loveliness, Tea In The Garden, Teacup Tuesday, Cottage Garden Party, Share Your Cup Thursday, Simple and Sweet Fridays, Home Sweet Home, and Show and Tell Friday.

Tea For Three

Hello tea friends and happy August to you!

A couple of weeks ago I had a little tea for my friend Sue who lives in the next town and is a tea lover, like me.  My daughter was in the area and came for tea, too!  I decided to have tea indoors and use my Grandmother's chintz tea set.  It was made in occupied Japan and marked ucagco.  It being a very warm day I served iced tea and used the teacups to hold dessert.

The pretty hand painted goblets were done by a very talented friend I met last winter in Florida.

The menu was simple.  Chicken salad on baby greens, fresh fruit, cheese and crackers.  Scones from the bakery, brownies, and white chocolate pudding with strawberries.

After tea Sue was kind enough to give me tips about blogging.  She has her own blog named  Serenitea-sb,  and  has a wonderful talent writing about things dear to her heart.

Thank you so much for visiting.  Stop by next week and we will have tea in the garden!
