Shabby Chic Farm Cottage Christmas

Welcome and Merry Christmas to all of you!  I have been at our little farm cottage quite a bit during this season and thought I would share my little farm cottage all decorated for a shabby chic Christmas.  Christmas past and present, with tea time too!  The cottage may be red on the outside, but lots of pink on the inside!

The shed in the back is my tiny tea parlor!

Lets start the tour with tea in the living room.  Help yourself to a cup of tea, as this post is rather long!

I moved the sofa up close to the fireplace.

A few pictures of my cupboards in the kitchen filled with pretties.

Lastly, the bedroom with a early morning tea I had the other day.

Little Christmas tree decorated with tiny teapots and teacups.

Sweet wall cabinet filled with miniature teapots and teacups.

I hope you enjoyed my shabby chic farm house tour!  Thank you so much for visiting!

I will be taking an extended blogging break.  I have been thinking about ending this blog,  but just can't say the words right now.  We will see what the future holds.

I want you to know how much I appreciate your friendship through the years and your lovely comments you left me.  May you all have a wonderful blessed New Year!

I will be joining Bernideen for her Friends Sharing Tea party.

Christmas Cup Of Tea

Just a quick cup of tea to share on my favorite tea party blogs!

Christmas decorating and shopping on my mind, but taking a few minutes to reflect on this special season.

The sweet teacup is named Holly, from the  Royal Albert flower of the month series.

Please excuse the blurry photo's!

I've added a faux woods tree by the fireplace this year.  I placed it in my old doll sleigh for height along with some teddy bears and my cute little plaid stuffed moose.

A cozy setting to enjoy a cup of Downton Christmas tea and a couple of  sugar cookies!

Thank you so much for stopping by!  Wishing you a wonderful Christmas season!

I will be joining the these special blog parties:  Friends Sharing Tea,  Tuesday Cuppa Tea, and Teacup Tuesday.

Tea In The Garden For November

Welcome friends!  Lately we have been having beautiful autumn days.  It is hard to believe it is already November!  Usually we have had snow by now!  It is just too nice to stay indoors so thought I would share what I think will be the last outdoor tea for this year!

I put the table by my potting shed at home.  The nasturtiums are still blooming enjoying the lovely autumn weather we have had this week.

A plaid throw for the table, an old Alfred Meakin pitcher filled with bittersweet, and brown transferware for tea time.

The teapot is a Woods Burslem, England named "Hyde".  I recently found it at a antique mall in San  Diego while on vacation.  This beauty sat close by me on the airplane!  Doesn't it have a different kind of lid?  I have never seen one like it!

The teacup and saucer are named "King Tom", an American Tradition.  I love to use these in November.

The little creamer, a gift from a dear friend is Midwinter Ltd Burslem England "Rural England".  The sweet little angel is from my sister.

For a sweet today there is a delicious apple cake my daughter-in-law made and  in the teapot  Simpson & Vail Chocolate Caramel Black Tea.  Yum!

Well I could sit out here forever, but I still have some yard work I should do!  Although the forecast for the next two weeks is mild weather!

Thank you for stopping by and I wish you all have a lovely weekend!

I will be joining the following parties: Friends Sharing Tea and Tuesday Cuppa Tea.
