Daisy Tea

Hi everyone, we were at the farm cottage enjoying the beautiful weather again.  My favorite tea time's are in the flower garden and I have lots of daisies blooming for us to enjoy!

I'm using a vintage tablecloth I've had for ages.  I thought the blue thrift store dishes would look pretty on it.  The teacup and saucer are both unmarked, but the shallow bowl is marked "engraved for W. Ridgeway & Co.  England".

It was pretty warm out, so I brought out my iron stone pitcher filled with ice water and lemon.

To make sure no bees land in the ice water I used dollar store doilies and crocheted beads to them, to use as little coverings.

Sure hope you can find a sunny warm place for tea outdoors!  Thank you for visiting and wishing you a wonderful week.

I will be joining the following parties this week:  Tea in the Garden,  Tuesday Cuppa Tea, and Teacup Tuesday.

Tea In The Rustic Gazabo

Hi everyone, I hope your week goes well!  It has been so beautiful at home this past weekend!  For tea time this week I thought I would share  a simple tea I enjoyed in our rustic gazebo.  My hubby and I made the gazebo from dead wood on our property.  The vines covering it are bittersweet and hops.  The flowers in front of the gazebo are yellow loosestrife.

Last week we visited Mackinac Island so I thought of using my special teacup from the Grand Hotel.  I did a post back in March of this year if you would like to read about it.

Willow, my Cicely Mary Barker flower fairy is really persistent with the tea!  She likes the white unmarked teapot!

The bench is covered in comfy pillows to relax and enjoy the summer day.  I found it abandoned along an old railroad bed and brought it home.

I thought I would share a few pictures of our trip to Mackinac Island.  Here's me starting out on our bike ride around the island.

Such beautiful homes on the island!

Ferry ride to and from Mackinac Island.  We were treated to a ride under the Mackinac bridge connecting the lower and upper peninsula of Michigan.

Thank you so much for taking the time to stop by and visit me!

I will be joining the following parties this week:  Tea Time Tuesday,  Tea In The Garden, Tuesday Cuppa Tea, and Teacup Tuesday.

Pink Tea By The Garden

Happy July to all!  Last week we were at the farm for a few days and I enjoyed tea by the garden.  Flowers are blooming and the weather just perfect for tea time!

I'm using one of my Moss Rose teapot's that I collect.  I have five others, all different  shapes.  This one is unmarked.  I'm hoping to find a few  more for my tea parties. I have about fourteen teacups and  dessert plates to match, all found at thrift stores.

Enjoying left over cake from my Sister's anniversary.

Taking time to relax with a good book, sweets, and a nice cup of tea on a beautiful day!  Wish you were here!

Thank you so much for your visit!  Wishing you a  wonderful week!

I will be joining the following parties this week:  Tea Time Tuesday,  Tea In The Garden, Tuesday Cuppa Tea, and Teacup Tuesday.
