Tea With Poppy

Hi everyone, the last couple of days have been beautiful here.  Nice and warm!  My poppies are just starting to open, they don't last long so thought I better take advantage of the sunny day and enjoy tea with them!

The Lady's Mantle is also blooming.  I just happen to have a lace tablecloth to match their color, and filled a small vase with the flowers.

The teacup is unmarked and the glass teapot was a gift from my dear sister.  Bigelow's Constant Comment fills the teapot.  A black tea flavored with rind of oranges and sweet spices.

Sorry the cookies don't look the best, but they sure were good!  They are Heath Bits peanut butter cookies.  The recipe is on the package of Heath Milk Chocolate Toffee Bits.

A garden fairy came for a sip of tea!

Thank you so much for stopping by!

I will be joining the following parties this week:  Tea Time Tuesday,  Tea In The Garden, Tuesday Cuppa Tea, Teacup Tuesday, and A Return To Loveliness.

Angels In The Garden

Dear tea friends, today I'm sharing a Memorial Garden in memory of my precious daughter, Amy.

My bleeding hearts are blooming and I thought so fitting to place close by a few angels, given to me by my  dear daughter-in-law and sister.

I've been sitting out here with my tea when the weather permits.  Lately I enjoy my tea times alone to think of my sweet girl and seeking comfort from our Lord and Savior.  I miss her so much!

The pretty teacup was made by Coalport, in England.  The saucer with the sweet tiny flowers was made in Germany.

I love the verse on the necklace the cherub is wearing.

Amy loved flowers, so as more bloom I'll be moving the angels among them.

Thank you so much for visiting me this week!

I will be joining the following parties:  Sandi's "Savor the Summer Tea Party",  Tea in the Garden, and A Return to Loveliness.

Lilac Tea Time

It's lilac time at the farm cottage and a beautiful day for an outdoor tea!

Linens, good books, and a serenading fairy for my tea table.

I'm using a pretty pansy  teacup  marked Rosina, England.  A gift from a sweet friend.  The teapot is filled with Garden Andes, organic rosehip & hibiscus tea.  A gift from my dear sister.

Sunny warm weather, comfy chair, good books, and delicious tea!  A blessing to me!

Thank you so much for stopping by and enjoying a bit of tea time today!

Tea With The Purple Phlox

Happy tea time this week!  My creeping Phlox are blooming at the farm cottage, a pretty setting for a outdoor tea.

I've set the little side table on the path of my flower bed.  I chose one of my favorite teapots and filled it with Twinings Lady Gray tea.

The sweet teacup is named Victoria, marked C&E, bone china, England.  Whenever I use it, I think of my dear niece Vicky.

Enjoying a book about garden fairies.  I like to think I have them living in my flower beds.

My little cherub birdbath that the birds and other tiny creatures enjoy.

My lilacs are just starting to open.  Next week I'll share another lilac tea at the farm cottage.

Thank you so much for stopping by!  Wishing you a wonderful week!

Cherry Blossom Tea

Hi everyone, hope your week is going well!  We had a wonderful warm weekend and decided to enjoy a early tea on my deck by the cherry tree.  It seems like overnight the tree was covered in white blossoms! So fragrant!

I'm using one of my favorite type of dishes, red transferware.  The teapot is marked Windsor, made in England.

I love the pattern of this teacup and plate, marked Stratford, Scenes from the Shakespeare Country, British Anchor, England.

A tiny garden fairy joined me for tea!

I enjoyed a bagel with homemade strawberry jam.

Thank you for visiting!
