Tea In The Four Square Flower Garden

Hello dear friends, what glorious weather we have been having!  Nice and warm, a perfect day for tea in my four square garden!

Do you remember my butterfly bench I got last year in honor of my precious daughter?  I set a little table in front of it for tea today.

While setting the table I thought maybe little "Alice" would like to join us for tea.  I recently found her for $3;00!  She is from Dept. 56, and  named "Tea for Two".  Isn't she cute  trying to pour tea?

I haven't used any blue's  for tea in awhile and wanted to share the teapot and table cover I recently found at a thrift store.

The teapot is a brilliant blue marked with a lion insigna.

The blue transferware teacup is unmarked, but the saucer  is a Ridgeway, named  "Coaching Days". made in Staffordshire, England.

Thanks for stopping by and have a wonderful week!

Peonies And Transferware

Welcome to tea time!  Last week I enjoyed tea with my pretty peonies in the garden.

I'm using  a set of transferware I recently found at a antique mall while traveling back from Florida.  All the tea items are named "Old England".  They are Royal Tudor Ware by Barker Bros.,  England.  The teapot is small, maybe a child's?  It does hold two good cups of tea, though.  The photo doesn't do it justice.  The scene is of a horse pulling a wagon with a boy and his dog standing by.  I love the little spout!  Do you think maybe it's a coffee pot?

The teacup and creamer have the same scene.  I love that the creamer is a small size.  Perfect for one person who likes a lot of milk in her tea!

The darling dessert plate has a scene of a  little cabin and a Mom with her children.  Life was hard in those days!

The light pink peonies have the best fragrance and lasted longer than usual this year!

I hope you enjoyed my tea time today!  Thank you so much for coming by this week!

Tea With Queen Gilliflower

Hello and thank you for joining me for tea this week!  I thought today I'd have tea with Queen Gilliflower, or more commonly called Dames Rocket.  These flowers self seed every year and I welcome them in my garden.

The tea table is set next to my potting shed, where Queen Gilliflower likes to reign.  It has been a beautiful day today, so enjoyable!

Isn't that a sweet praying fairy?  Another gift from my dear sister.

I know some of you have this darling teapot.  I could not resist it when I saw it at Homegoods for only $9.99!

The teacup is another thrift store find while in Florida.  It is marked Lefton China, hand painted.  So pretty with the violets and bit of gold.

I am so glad we are finally getting summer like weather now.  Time to enjoy tea in the garden!

Thank you again for stopping by and I wish you a wonderful week!
