Tea Under The Plum Tree

Welcome to my first tea in the garden for 2015!  It has been a cool wet season for us here, But I did manage to have a leisurely tea by our plum tree full of blossoms last week.

I used my collection of Lily of the Valley tea ware, as my Lilly of the Valley flowers are blooming now.

The Teapot is made by Arthur Wood and Son, Staffordshire, England.

The teacups and plates made by Alfred Meakin, England.

The pretty decorated cake is from our Anniversary celebration at Disney World, and the teapot is filled with tea I bought from the Grand Floridian Tea Room.

My sister gave me the darling fairies sharing tea with us.

Thank you so much for joining me for tea in the garden!   Next time I will share the wonderful tea I had at the Grand Floridian in Disney World!

I will be joining the following parties this week:  Tea Time Tuesday, Tea in the Garden, Teacup Tuesday, and Tuesday Cuppa Tea and A Return to Loveliness.

That looks delightfully pretty and fresh. I so wish that we could have gotten together while you were here in Florida. I do hope we can meet the next time. Sounds like you must have had a wonderful time.
I love your fairy sisters. So sweet...and the teapot and cups are beautiful.
Thank you for sharing them with us.

Such a pretty tea party! wish I had been there! We have have a lot of rain too. I try not to complain, other areas need it and we have had so much! Now the heat wave looks as if it will be here to stay. Have a beautiful week. Thanks for the tea talk.

Your tea set is so pretty! It is so hot here, in the 90's, that you can't stay outside long at a time, but tea in the garden would be so nice. Have a blessed week!

Thank you for the inspiration- I have a yard, trees & a primitive table not being used on my screened in porch..wonderful assortment of dishes and table lines, teapots...you name it. I think I need to get busy and invite someone over for Tea and conversation.

Oh Nancy! I LOVE your Lily of the Valley china. It makes me think of my mother as she loved Lily of the Valley flowers, and she had a set of Bavarian China with Lily of the Valley on all the pieces. She gave the set to my daughter while she was still alive, and Lori treasures it. Your tea under the Plum Tree is just beautiful. ~ Phyllis
