October Tea

Hi everyone, glad you could join me for my last outdoor tea for this year!  Since I had this tea the weather has sure changed.  Cold, windy, rain and even a few snow flakes yesterday.

Tea today is in front of my log home.  Wild woodbine decorates the garage door every year and gives such a pretty autumn show for us.

I'm using my collection of brown transferware.  I enjoy looking for more pieces when I visit thrift stores.

I love the coffee pot.  It is named the Post House by Wood & Sons, England.

The teacups are marked Broadhurst England and Barralls    Elizabethan, Staffordshire England.  The dessert  plates are Tonquin by Franciscan, Staffordshire England.

I had made an apple cake to share on this fine autumn day.

After seeing Sandi's lovely post today on her Tea Time Tuesday party, I thought I would share  some whimsy I recently found in my yard.  Must be a good year for toadstools!

Thanks for visiting!  Wishing you all a wonderful week!

I will be joining the following parties this week:  Tea Time Tuesday, Friends Sharing Tea, Tea Cup Tuesday, and Tuesday Cuppa Tea.

Your setting is lovely, Nancy. This time of year is the perfect time to use our brown transferware and yours really is lovely. Love the teapot and other pieces you have set out. Your wee fairies are so cute playing about the toadstool. Seems a few of us have added a little whimsy this week. Thank you for joining me for tea. You have been in my thoughts quite a bit the past couple of weeks.

Blessings,
Sandi

Lovely autumn tea. In the long shot, the table setting looks almost like miniatures.

Love the fairies dancing about.

Your fall garden tea using your brown transferware is as lovely as all the other outdoor teas you've hosted this year. Guess we'll have to enjoy our tea indoors for the next few months, as cooler temperatures have definitely arrived in Michigan.

Your last tea outside is wonderful with the brown transferware and autumn coloured leaves behind. Some snowflakes already? Soon enough we'll be getting them too, it's been cold and raining for two days.
I love your collection of fairies dancing around the huge toadstool.
