A May Tea

Hello everyone,
We are at our little farm cottage again and thought i'd share another tea setting.  I'm fighting my first cold in four years so thought a cup of tea is just want I needed.  The weather just does not want to cooperate.  Still cool in the 40's and 50's with a fierce wind!

I thought I'd  use my Pansy cup and saucer a friend gave me.  The name is Rosana - made in England.  The tea i'm drinking today is a black tea from the Hale tea company.

Being  May I've been thinking of Mothers Day and my sweet Mom.  I bought this for my mom many years ago was was returned to me when she downsized.

The picture of Mother and Child I bought  for myself.  I love my flowers but being a Mother is the best thing on earth!

Thank you so much for stopping by.  I hope the weather will warm up soon so I can join the outdoor teas!

I'll be joining the following parties:
Teatime Tuesday, A Return to Loveliness, Friends Sharing Tea, Feathered Nest Friday, and  Home Sweet Home.

Hi Nancy,
What a pretty tea you have shared today! The colours are just beautiful and the hydrangea lends a perfect accompaniment to your teacup. Thank you for joining me for Tea Time and have a lovely week. I hope you're over your cold soon. I have been fighting mine for two weeks now.

Blessings,
Sandi

Great way to have tea is in your lovely Pansy cup and saucer. I love the sweet card for Mother's day and am glad your Mother was kind enough to return it. My favorite is the picture of the Mother and Child with the special poem. Sorry you are ill and best wishes for a speedy recovery!
