Special Tea Time

Hello tea friends,  last Friday I had the privilege of giving a tea for my grandson Justin and his girlfriend Adriana.  She enjoys tea's, having lots of tea time with her Grandma.  She looked so darling, all dressed up with a pretty dress and pearls!

We were getting another snowstorm, but it was warm and cozy inside.

I used my Grandmother's tea set from Occupied Japan and my Mother-in-law's silver, which I inherited.

 For favors, Dove Easter bunny.

My beautiful bouquet from Adriana!  The lovely vase is hand painted, a gift from my friend Garnet..

Sandwiches and sweets on the tea tray.

I enjoyed the day so much and felt so blessed to spend the time with such a sweet couple.

Thank you so much for stopping by and I hope you have a wonderful week!

I will be joining the following parties this week:  Tea Time Tuesday,  Friends Sharing Tea,  Teacup Tuesday, Tuesday Cuppa Tea, and A Return to Loveliness.

A cozy tea setting with yummy looking sandwiches and sweet treats. I feel a single strand of pearls is perfect for a special tea and Adriana and Justin look pleased with the tea for them.
Your grandmother's china has a pretty rose pattern and the flowers go well with the colour theme.
I hope one of our grandsons will want a tea prepared by me one day.

How very charming, and what a perfect afternoon it must have been. A warm, cozy tea party is one of the delights of cold weather.

And the setting is absolutely lovely---the china and silver and OH, the FLOWERS!

The tea tray of tempting treats looks scrumptious---PAVLOVAS, oh, my. You're one special hostess.
