Thanksgiving Dishes

Hello and welcome!  For tea this week I thought I would share my seasonal dishes  that I like to use around Thanksgiving time.

I used an afghan for the table covering.  I love the Bible verse!

I've had the next two turkey plates for years.  Wish I could fine more of them!  The large turkey   is called "Turkey", by W.R. Midwinter, Burslem, England.

The next plate is by Maruta Ware, Japan.

I found two of these plates and a platter last summer at a thrift store.  No markings on the back.

My Mom made the turkey in ceramic class years ago.

The teapot is named "Chantilly", made by Furnival & Son.

Thanksgiving in America will be here soon, and I am so thankful for all my friends who read this blog.  Wishing you all a wonderful blessed Thanksgiving day!

I will be taking a blogging break for a few weeks and hope to be back in December for the Christmas season.

I will be joining Tea Time Tuesday and Friends Sharing Tea, this week.

Love those turkey plates and your pretty table. I was trying to remember the artwork on your teapot - isn't that like what they call the Aesthetic Period Victorian? It is a specific style and very unique. I am so glad you shared at Friends Sharing Tea!

Your thanksgiving table is lovely and I like the turkey your mother made. Back in the late 70s I made a turkey platter at ceramics but unfortunately it developed a crack and we didn't trust it to hold any weight. It was a relaxing hobby which I don't hear of anyone doing these days.
