Playing With My Pink Dishes

Welcome and hope you all had a good week.  As you probably know, October is Breast Cancer Awareness month and I will be joining Sandi at her Teatime Tuesday special Pink Teatime.  I'm sure we all know someone who has had this terrible disease.  For me, precious family members and dear friends.  Before I share my tea today let's have a prayer that there will soon be a cure!

I had some extra time to play with my dishes in my little farm cottage kitchen.  Knowing I wanted to use lots of pink,  I gathered all my mismatched china to place them on a special table covering I found last year at a antique store for only ten dollars!  It is hand embroidered and I thought fitting for a special pink ladies tea.

The beautiful tilting teapot was my Mothers-in-laws and is such a treasure to me!

All of the place settings are from thrift stores.

You can see in the background my white china cupboard with my Mom's rose dishes.

Another thrift store find, a sweet little girl vase holding extra spoons.

Lastly, Goldie, my daughter's family dog decided while I was busy playing with the dishes, to make himself comfortable on the living room sofa!

Thank you for stopping and sharing teatime with me!

I will be joining the following parties:  Make It Pretty Monday, Teatime Tuesday, Friends Sharing Tea, Tuesday Cuppa Tea, Teacup Tuesday, A Return To Loveliness, What's It Wednesday,  Share Your Cup Thursday, Home Sweet Home, Simple and Sweet Fridays, and Show And Tell Friday.

Hi There,
I love your variety of pink china settings, your adorable teacup chandelier and all of your mom's dinner set on the white china cabinet. Your farm cottage looks so very inviting. I would love to visit and have a cup of tea at your pretty table with all of your pink pretties. Thrift stores are the very best, aren't they? Thank you so much for showing us the inside your lovely cottage. I also pray that there will be a cure for cancer some day.
Have a wonderful week! Take care,
Karen

Hi Nancy,
What a pretty room complete with pretty dishes! Your lady table covering is so cute and I love the mis-matched china. The silver tipping pot is truly a treasure. We don't see many of those and yours is looking fabulous. Love the teacup chandy too.
I had to laugh at Goldie posing on the couch. My son's doggy is always on their couch too. Actually, they have three couches in their living room and one is Charlie's. He is just a little spoiled. lol. Thank you for sharing your pink pretties with us at my Pink Tea and have a delightful day.

Blessings,
Sandi

Lol! Goldie looks perfectly at home on your sofa! What a sweet dog.

Your tea time is so very lovely. You and I share some of the same china, and so I am loving seeing you put your tea together. I adore that unique tablecloth. I have never seen one like that. It is amazing. All your china looks romantic together, and that silver tea pot! Oh my! It is a treasure too.
Your home looks so cozy and inviting. Thank you for sharing with us.
