Tea At The Farm Garden

Hello and welcome!  Happy last week of August!  We have been at our little farm for a few days and I enjoyed a tea by my flower garden.

Lots of white flowers blooming!  Hydrangea's, Shasta daisies, tall Phlox, and the spears of Boarman's Root.

I like the look of the vintage tablecloth with the colors of the tea set  and chair.

I bought the floral tea set a few years ago at a Ross store while traveling south.  Only $9.99 for the teapot,  four cups and saucers, and the sugar and creamer!

The little angel was a thrift store find.  She was painted with very bright colors and I spray painted her a soft white.  Shall we say a prayer before we have tea?

I hope you enjoyed tea time today!

Thank you so much for visiting and have a great week!

I will be joining the following parties:  Make It Pretty Monday, A Return To Loveliness, Tea Time Tuesday, Tea In The Garden, Teacup Tuesday, Tuesday Cuppa Tea, Share Your Cup Thursday, and Show and Tell Friday.

A delightful tea in the garden, the table cloth and china go well together. The angel is much nicer in white I should think, and will watch over us during tea.
I'm wondering if what you're calling boarman's root is the same plant we call culver's root? I have it growing by my tea house and it looks like the same spiky flower.

Everything goes so well together - I love the angel. I'm been looking for an angel for the garden that doesn't have a goofy looking face - I'll keep looking.

Your outside setting in the garden was so special. From the blue sky, the greenery, and the wonderful table were so pristine. The angel and bird napkin ring just brought heaven down into your garden.

The white flowers surrounding your tea table are what attracted me to the rest of the post. ( not that I would have missed reading , but the white flowers made this a MUST read ! )I think you have inspired e to consider all white flower plantings in the future.

What a find, the tea set is lovely and perfect for so many tea times.

Your tea set is beautiful, Nancy. It matches your chair and tablecloth! I enjoyed seeing the whites in your garden. I love the Boarman's root - wonder if that is the same as Culver's root. It resembles it for sure. Have a blessed week!
