We are having tea in my tiny sewing nook. I've placed the tea pretties on my Grandmothers vintage treadle sewing machine.
I just love my new chintz teacups, a gift from my dear sister. The sweet teacups are named "Rosalynde", made by James Kent. So lovely for a Valentine tea!
You may remember my Crown Dorset teapot from a previous post.
The teaspoons are from my Grandmother. Love the pattern "Primrose", by Wm. Rogers & Son.
We need sweets for our Valentine Tea, so I made lavender heart cookies.
I also have cherry vanilla ice cream in meringue nest cups. To keep us warm the teapot is filled with Hanna's Tea Times tea "Love Spice", a black tea with cinnamon, cloves, almond flavor, and infused with orange.
I hope you enjoyed tea time today and have a wonderful Valentine's day! Thank you so much for visiting!
I will be sharing this tea with Sandi at"Tea Time Tuesday" and Bernideen's "Friends Sharing Tea", special Valentine's parties.

Hello dear Nancy,
What a delightful tea table you have set. I love the colours, the soft pinks and aquas. They so minister to me! Your lavender cookies look delicious and the teacups are just beautiful. I would love one of those delicious looking desserts with a cup of your tea! What a wonderful gift of those tea cups and saucers and the whole arrangement with the tea pot is lovely! You always do such lovely posts.
I love your Ivy teapot and chintz teacup set. A lovely post.
I dearly love chintz tea cups? And the ice cream in meringue cups. Beautiful and I bet it tastes great.
Hi Nancy,
That is such a pretty setting for tea today. I love, love, love that teapot! Such a beauty and your matching chintz teacups are indeed a treasure. I have one like them but mine has a wee chip and crack and I am heartbroken about it. I do believe that they are pricey collectibles. What a dear sister you have! I would just love to try the cherry ice cream in meringue. Yum! Have a Happy Valentine's Day! Karen
So lovely! Wish I could come enjoy your tea time with you. It looks so inviting...and I know the company would be outstanding. (((hugs))) to you today sweet friend.
A lovely table with delicious goodies and I just love your chintz teacups.
Oh what a lovely place for tea in the sewing nook! I like the idea of using the sewing machine cabinet for a tea table. The pretty James Kent chintz cups and saucers are marvelous and so thoughtful of your sister. The lighted candle adds so much ambiance. Have a great 14th!

What a beautiful Valentine's Tea, Nancy! I love everything - the lace tablecloth on your grandmother's sewing machine, her silver teaspoons, the teapot, the beautiful chintz teacups, the lit candle, the delicious Valentine cookies and cherry meringue cups, and the framed aqua Valentine. If I could I'd drive right over and join you for tea! Hugs, Phyllis

Enjoyed seeing all of your pretties. I want a little place like your cottage, I like how you have decorated it so cozy.
I know it's bound to be very cold where you are , but such a pretty place. My Childrens grandfather was from Marquette Michigan and his father was a light house keeper for a while at Whitefish Point so many many moons ago.
Happy Valentines day!
