My Cozy Tiny Tea Parlor

Hello and Welcome!  When at our little farm cottage this late summer and fall  I have been busy decorating my tiny storage shed into a cozy tiny tea parlor.

I papered the walls using my old Victoria magazines.  It has been so much fun   going through stacks of them and  picking out my favorite full page pictures!

My chippy wire form gal in the corner used to be in the flower garden and now I have lots of space for my teacups on the rafters!

In the other corner my cement lady brought in from the garden to keep me company!

I found the colorful chandy at a antique mall for only $40.00!  Only problem  I have no electricity in the parlor!

Now would you like to join me for tea?

The teapot is a Cauldon-Vale, Staffordshire England.  A different darling design on each side!

The teacups and plates are American Limoges, Chateau-K, Minuet Pink.  A friend made the lovely tablecloth for me!

Tea time through the mirror!

Twinings Chi in the teapot and apple strudel pie for a sweet!

A lot going on in the tea parlor!  But it will not be short of  conversation during tea time!  :)

Thank you for stopping by today and I am hoping you are enjoying your Autumn!

I will be joining the following parties this week:  Share Your Cup Thursday and Friends Sharing Tea.

October Tea On The Cabin Porch

Hello tea friends!  It has been awhile since I enjoyed a long relaxing tea here at my log cottage, Yesterday  was such a lovely fall day,  so I set up tea time on my front porch. So glad you joined me!

I have lots of pink here with my fall asters and geraniums still blooming beautifully!

About a year ago I found this special Royal Albert Flowers Of The Month Series teapot set at a thrift store.  Half price for $35.00!

The teacups are also Royal Albert, September Aster and October Cosmos.

My sweet little lady vase filled with cosmos and asters from my garden.

Apple caramel scones and delicious Elmwood Inn tea,  A Kentucky blend black tea sent thoughtfully to me from Linda@Friendship Tea.

Thank you so much for stopping over for tea!  I hope you are having a beautiful autumn!

I will be joining the following parties this week:  Friends Sharing Tea,  Tuesday Cuppa Tea, and Tea Cup Tuesday.

Tea At The Grand Hotel

On September 17th I had the wonderful opportunity to join the Michigan Tea Tour Group headed by Phyllis @ Relevant Tea Leaf blog, for afternoon tea at the Grand Hotel on Mackinac Island, Michigan.

It was so nice to meet the ladies who were part of the group!

The afternoon tea was served in the hotel parlor.

The savories and sweets were very good!

There is a tea shop in the hotel where I purchased the English Breakfast tea that we were served.

A darling wicker cart at the florist shop in the Grand.

Transportation to and from the Grand Hotel, if you wish.

Main Street looking both ways.  So pretty!

The ferry I took to and from the island.

Rough waters on the way back to mainland!

A beautiful afternoon spent with tea friends!  So thankful!
