I've been going through some of my old pictures and thought I'd share with you an Afternoon Tea I gave a few years ago at my little farm cottage. I quickly cleared away my two wing back chairs and a few side tables and I was ready to set up tables and decorate. Its been such fun to plan and give teas here for friends and relatives. Most of my tea accouterments have come from thrift shops and generous gifts from relatives and friends.
I used my collection of rose china I got from my Mom. She gave me her service for eight and I was lucky to find another set for eight!
For this Tea I made a stuffed lady and had her sitting in the rocking chair on the front porch enjoying a cup of tea. She turned out so cute and everyone wanted their picture taken with her.
Thanks for letting me reminisce. Please excuse the date on the photos - I never dreamed I'd be blogging back then!

Vintage Highchair And Tea
Happy New Year everyone!
While putting away some of my Christmas decorations I decided to have one last cup of tea using my December teacup. I set it down on my vintage highchair and took a few pictures to share.
My Mom got the highchair over 70 years ago and I've been the proud owner for at least 30 years. The highchair had many coats of paint on it. To my surprise when I stripped it in the 80's the beautiful design of the back showed up! The highchair served well for my five grandchildren and how holds teddy bears and indoor plants.
Thankyou for visiting,
Nancy
