Tea In The Potting Shed

Hello friends, this week for tea time we are having tea in my potting shed. Our fall weather has been beautiful, but with lots of wind!  The potting shed is close to my log cottage so it is easy to bring a tray out and enjoy the extra warmth and sunshine in the glass sided shed.

Before tea I had to clear off the little table filled with potting shed essentials and Chinese lanterns I recently picked from my garden.

A crochet tablecloth and newly purchased mums,  Now we are ready for the tea tray!

I'm using this sweet teacup and saucer by Johnson Brothers named Bouquet.

The plate is a good match made by Myott, named swing time.

My sturdy country teapot is not marked.

Yummy oatmeal cookies and tea in a cozy earthly place!  An ideal time to reflect on this years garden and dream of next year's flower garden!

Thank you for stopping by and wishing you have a wonderful week!

I will be joining the following parties:  Tea Time Tuesday,  Tea In The Garden, and Teacup Tuesday.

What a darling little potting shed and so perfect for tea time today. I love how you set up the tray with all your pretty pieces. Your Chinese Lanterns are so perfect for fall. I sold those in my shop back in the day when drieds were huge and they were very expensive!

Nancy, your potting shed is darling! I like how the napkin ties in with the mums and your teacup. Very attractive vignette. Those oatmeal cookies look wonderful too. What a cozy spot for a cuppa. Thank you, my friend, for sharing with us and joining me for tea. Happy Autumn!

Hugs,
Sandi

O how I want one a potting shed. I remember as a little girl we had one I barely remember it. The thing I do remember is them a great uncle tearing it down and Turquoise and White canning jars being broken which didnt bother me to much. But as I grew up my mom always said the belonged to my great Grandma. I have inheirted that little cottage and want to put that shed back.. A lovely place to have Tea, love your Tea cup and saucer.. Love it all thanks for sharing. Happy Autumn with love Janice
