Welcome everyone,
Well warm weather is finally here for awhile. We've had eighty degree weather for a few days and my roses love it! I've set a little tea under the rose bower for me to share with you.
I'm using my very special tea set that was my Grandmothers. Its a set for six and I feel so blessed to have it. I remember seeing the tea set in her china cabinet (which I have now) when I was a child. The markings are vcagco china - made in occupied Japan. It is very delicate, when I put it up to the light you can see right through it.
The walkway is the front entrance to our log home. I have a large assortment of perennials I mostly started from seed years ago. The name of the climbing rose is William Baffin, an Explorer rose. He is such a good guy, he doesn't attract bugs and he likes our cold winters! I see I need to prune him after he stops blooming. He's trying to escape the arbor!
Thank you for stopping by again. I hope you never tire of have tea with me and come visit next time!
I will be joining these lovely parties this week: Teatime Tuesday, Teacup Tuesday, Tabletop Tuesday, Tuesday Cuppa Tea, Tea in the Garden, A Return to Loveliness, Cottage Garden Party, Share Your Cup Thursday, Teacup Thursday, Simple and Sweet Fridays, Home Sweet Home, and Pink Saturday.

A June Tea
Welcome everyone and hope you all had a great Fathers Day!
My Hubby and I enjoyed a small tea near our greenhouse along side a beautiful patch of flowers called Dames Rockets. They self seed every year with the help of the birds! I googled Dames Rocket and found out there are many other names for the flower such as: Damask Violet, Mother-of-the-Evening, Summer Lilac, and Queen Gilliflower. I just love those sweet old fashioned names!
The dishes I'm using are a set for two with the Lily of the Valley pattern on them. The back is stamped Alfred Meakin, England. I was so happy to find them at a thrift store as Lily of the Valley is one of my favorite flowers and so much fun to use in the springtime.
I used to start most of my annuals and perennials from seed using my greenhouse in the spring. Now its mainly used for potting plants and storage.
Hope you enjoyed my flowers and Tea along with my greenhouse. My flowers are really starting to bloom around here and finally looks like summer!
Thank you for stopping by and I hope you can come back soon!
I will be joining Sandi's "Savor the Summer" Tea Party, Bernideens "Tea in the Garden", A Return to Loveliness, Cottage Garden Party, Simple and Sweet Fridays, and Home Sweet Home.

Tea with Iris
Welcome, I hope you are having a good day!
I made a little tea for you and me among my Irises. In the spring purple dominates my gardens!
I set the table with a white lace tablecloth and topped it off with a colorful purple scarf that my friend gave me. I'm using my blue ruffle crinoline dishes along with my white hobnail sugar and creamer I received for a wedding gift almost 47 years ago! I bought the kitty teapot years ago at a grocery store when my children were young.
The building in the background I call the "outhouse" is used for storing garden items.
Thank you for stopping by and sharing Tea with me. I always enjoy your company!

A Lilac Tea
Hello and welcome,
Its another beautiful day in May! The lilacs are in full bloom and giving off such an amazing smell. I thought I'd do Tea near the lilacs to take in the beauty and sweet aroma of the blossoms.
Today I'm using a special teacup my friend gave me. Its a memento from Washington DC. I love the dainty footed shape and the delicate pink color.
I bought the little fairy pushing a cart full of lilacs at a thrift store.
I painted the silk scarf at a craft class I attended last winter in Florida. I like how it can be used as a runner to add some color to the tea table.
To the right is my garden shed I made from our old chicken coop. Its a perfect place to relax with a cup of tea and a good book.

Tea By The Pond
Hello everyone, hope you all had a great weekend. We had beautiful warm weather the past few days and decided to enjoy a mid morning Tea outside by our boggy pond.
Mr. and Mrs. Mallard have set up residence in the pond. Right now they are off visiting other ponds in the area so I can now prepare for Tea without disturbing them!
I chose my pink calico quilt for a table covering and used my transferware dishes I've started collecting. I only have these four pieces so far and I'm on the hunt for more!
The cup and saucer are unmarked. The dessert plate is marked "Four Seasons - England " and the creamer is "Taylor Smith, USA". I wonder who owned them before me and what kind of home they were in.
My lilacs are just starting to bloom so picked a few for Tea.
Thank you for visiting me and letting me share a little piece of our log home property.
I'll be joining the following lovely parties:

Indoor - Outdoor Tea
Hello and welcome,
I have a day all to myself and want to get out in the garden later. Its still too cold out for a outdoor tea so decided to do tea in front of our large windows in the dining room.
I found the teacup at a thrift shop for a quarter! There's no mark on it but matches a saucer I have quite well. The plate is one I found thrifting also. The marking reads Smith Taylor USA
In the background is my fairy garden I winter over indoors. Its very lush and overgrown. Once I bring it on my porch for the summer I'm sure the garden fairies will start trimming their little yard!
This is my favorite chair to sit in, surrounded by six large windows. I love to watch drink tea and watch the birds and squirrels enjoying spring.
I've been wanting to join Bernideens "Friends Sharing Tea" showcasing all the lovely Tea settings. So, on a whim I took the tea tray outside and took a few pics with my daffodils and primroses.
Here I set the tray on a chippy old lawn chair (hmmm, a white cloth would look good under the tray!).
Lastly, I thought I'd show you a fairy garden I made in our old rusty wheelbarrow. Come June 1st after the last frost deadline I'll plant annuals in it.
Thank you so much for taking time to stop by and visiting me. I always enjoy your visits and comments.
