Hello and welcome! For tea this week I thought I would share my seasonal dishes that I like to use around Thanksgiving time.
I used an afghan for the table covering. I love the Bible verse!
I've had the next two turkey plates for years. Wish I could fine more of them! The large turkey is called "Turkey", by W.R. Midwinter, Burslem, England.
The next plate is by Maruta Ware, Japan.
I found two of these plates and a platter last summer at a thrift store. No markings on the back.
My Mom made the turkey in ceramic class years ago.
The teapot is named "Chantilly", made by Furnival & Son.
Thanksgiving in America will be here soon, and I am so thankful for all my friends who read this blog. Wishing you all a wonderful blessed Thanksgiving day!
I will be taking a blogging break for a few weeks and hope to be back in December for the Christmas season.
I will be joining Tea Time Tuesday and Friends Sharing Tea, this week.

I love your ceramic turkey, Nancy, as well as your tablecloth with the scripture verse! What a nice centerpiece for your Thanksgiving table. Lovely teapot and turkey plates too. Thank you for sharing and coming to Tea Time. Enjoy your break, my friend, and I look forward to your Christmas posts.
Blessings & hugs,
Sandi
I just love your plates and the afghan you used as tablecloth is lovely!
Love those turkey plates and your pretty table. I was trying to remember the artwork on your teapot - isn't that like what they call the Aesthetic Period Victorian? It is a specific style and very unique. I am so glad you shared at Friends Sharing Tea!
Love the turkey your Mother made. How special to have it. Your table looks amazing. Wishing you a great week. Blessings, Martha
You have a wonderful collection of turkey plates for Thanksgiving. The turkey your mother made is darling. I absolutely love your antique teapot in brown transferware for it is a beauty. Have a great week!

Hi Nancy, Loved your festive Thanksgiving tablescape... your thrift store finds are always wonderful. And how special to have a ceramic turkey made by your mother. Wishing you and your family a Happy Thanksgiving! ~ Phyllis
Your thanksgiving table is lovely and I like the turkey your mother made. Back in the late 70s I made a turkey platter at ceramics but unfortunately it developed a crack and we didn't trust it to hold any weight. It was a relaxing hobby which I don't hear of anyone doing these days.
very pretty table setting. I love your table cloth!
I love that gorgeous Chantilly teapot! It coordinates so nicely with the turkey pieces on your table.

I have the same glasses for my Thanksgiving table. I love the mix of your dishes. They all look great together.!!!
Happy Thanksgiving, Ruthie from Lady B's Time for Tea
Your tables are always inviting. May you be as blessed as you are a blessing. "To everything a season..." also a favorite of mine. I can almost smell the wonderful aroma of Thanksgiving in America with your many "turkey" dishes. Hugs to you!
What a lovely tea, sweet friend! That little cottage teacup I remember from another post. I know you treasure your Mom's ceramic turkey. Enjoy your break! xo
Your Thanksgiving table looks so pretty for the occasion. I love the brown plates. I have always wanted a set of plates for Thanksgiving.
I hope you are enjoying the Christmas season!

Have missed you in blogland and will be praying for you during this difficult time.
I've been thinking about you and wondering where you have been. By the comments above it sounds like you may be going through some difficult times. Although I do not know anything about it, I will be in prayer for you.
