Hello and welcome,
Hope you all had a good week. We continue to have beautiful weather and recently got a nice rain. My Shasta daisies are doing wonderful this year with all the warm weather we are having. For tea this week at home I thought I'd share tea with you in my hen house retreat (formerly a chicken coop) court yard.
I made some cream scones with Devonshire cream for the tea today. The teapot holds Taylors of Harrogate Yorkshire Gold tea, a strong black tea.
My plates are a bit unusual. I got them at a senior citizen apartment sale years ago. They are tin with the marking of "made in Holland" on the back. I love the birds and the chintz like pattern.
Thank you for coming to tea today and leaving such lovely comments. Have a great week!
I will be joining the following blog parties: Make it Pretty Monday, Color Connection, Tea Time Tuesday, Teacup Tuesday, Tabletop Tuesday, Tuesday Cuppa Tea, Tea in the Garden, A Return to Loveliness, Cottage Garden Party, Share Your Cup Thursday, Teacup Thursday, Feathered Nest Friday, Sweet and Simple Fridays, Home Sweet Home, Show and Tell Friday. Saturday Showoff, and Wow us Wednesdays.

If there is anything I could say I'd like at our cottage, it's a white picket fence. A lovely area for your tea with your garden hat draped on the fence and those lovely bird plates.
Judith
What a beautiful place for tea, and there's a lot I like about it: the white picket fence, the hollyhocks, the shastas, the hat hanging on the fence, and your china! Simply lovely!
Tea-lightful! I love daisies.
How lovely,I would love to join you for tea.
I think the sweet fairy on the fence looks on just waiting for her cup too.
The tin plates are lovely,I thought they would look nice grouped together on a wall. Lovely setting. xx
Your tea is so lovely and your pictures should be published in a magazine. I loved them all. Pretty tin plates.

Love your tea in the garden setting. I've been blogging about blue and white transferware, so my eyes were immediately drawn to the teacups and teapot. Love the colorful bird dishes too - so perfect for a garden tea!

Very very pretty! I have the same tin plate! Our yard is all dry and the grass is brown, so it's lovely to see all your green. (:
Oh how I love your tea settings in the garden. The cream scones sound so yummy. Those bird plates are fabulous. I absolutely love them! My daisies were gorgeous but just had to cut them all down this week. Yours are still looking lovely. Thanks for sharing with Share Your Cup.

Such a lovely secluded spot for a lovely tea party for two! You didn't mention your fairy sitting on the fence. I quickly spot sweet little faces -- she whispered "look at me".
