A Simple August Tea

Hello, and happy August to all of you!

Tea this week is near my Daylily  patch.  They are just the plain old farm variety that you see everywhere, but I thought they would make a nice backdrop for a relaxing tea break.

I am using a teacup and dessert plate from a set of six different fruit patterns.  The markings say "Old Nuremberg, Bavaria Germany".  I got the set from my dear Mom when she downsized a few years ago.  Now that its August and fruits are ripening I thought it would be fun to use.

You can see part of my four square garden behind my potting shed.  This garden is full of the late summer colors.

Thank you for stopping by and and leaving your lovely comments.  They mean so much to me and make my day!  Hope you all have a wonderful week.

I'll be linking up to these fun parties:  Tea Time Tuesday, Teacup Tuesday, Tabletop Tuesday, Tuesday Cuppa Tea, Tea in the Garden, A Return to Loveliness, Cottage Garden Party, Share You Cup Thursday, Teacup Thursday, Simple and Sweet Fridays, Home Sweet Home, Show and Tell Friday, and Saturday Showoff.

Lovely garden tea. I do love these Daylilies - they are everywhere - I can tell where homes once stood by the patches of flowers left behind - oftentimes we see these in the ditches too - quite charming - your tablesetting is just gorgeous. I appreciate you sharing with A Return to Loveliness,
Kathy
