Tea with Iris

Welcome,  I hope you are having a good day!

I made a little tea for you and me among my Irises.  In the spring purple dominates my gardens!

I set the table with a white lace tablecloth and topped it off with a colorful purple scarf that my friend gave me.  I'm using my blue ruffle crinoline dishes along with my white hobnail sugar and creamer I received for a wedding gift almost 47 years ago!  I bought the kitty teapot years ago at a grocery store when my children were young.

The building in the background I call the "outhouse" is used for storing garden items.

Thank you for stopping by and sharing Tea with me.  I always enjoy your company!

I will be joining the following lovely parties:  Tea Time Tuesday, Teacup Tuesday, Tabletop Tuesday, Tuesday Cuppa Tea, A Return to Loveliness, Friends Sharing Tea, Cottage Garden Party,  Share Your Cup      Thursday, Simple and Sweet Fridays, and Home Sweet Home.

Hi Nancy,
your garden is beautiful. The blue iris remind me to a painting of VanGogh. So lovely and the setting is perfect for that. The soft blue in the china is lovely and the kitty pot is cute. Thank you for sharing this romantic tea time.

Nancy, your setting is amazing! The colors in your photos are just sooo pretty. I love how the blue chairs pick up the blue in your kitty teapot. I lived in MI for about 18 months, back in the mid '80's, before we moved to Texas.

Hi Nancy, your assortment of Iris's are beautiful. I love purple flowers and your tablescape is so darling. I love how wooded your garden is. I bought a new Iris the other day. It was unusual and was only $3. Of course, it had a bit of purple. Thanks for sharing with Share Your Cup.
