October Outdoor Tea

Hello everyone, happy October to you!  Last weekend we had such beautiful warm weather, so perfect for another outdoor tea!  I placed the tea table in front of the potting shed at home, close by my window box filled with nasturtiums.  Every spring I like to plant a lot of nasturtium seeds.  Seems like this time of year my petunia's are fading away and planting nasturtiums brings a pop of color for fall.  They are also so pretty in a tossed salad, as they are edible.

A pair of Scarecrows stopped by for tea.  Their work in the garden is over since the produce is harvested!

Tea today is Taylors of Harrogate Yorkshire Gold, a full bodied  dark tea.  I made some yummy spice sugar cookies, also.

The brown transferware tea set is the Yorkshire pattern, made in Staffordshire England.  I found the teapot (really a coffee pot) at a antique mall, the sugar and creamer at a thrift store, and the two teacups on Ebay .  I love the scene, a lazy fall day bringing in the hay.

Hoping you are enjoying tea time today!

Thank you for visiting and have a wonderful Autumn week!

I will be joining the following parties:  Teatime Tuesday, Friends Sharing Tea, Teacup Tuesday, Tuesday Cuppa Tea, What's It Wednesday, Share Your Cup Thursday, Simple and Sweet Fridays, Home Sweet Home, and Show and Tell Friday.

  1. Another lovely fall tea outdoors, Nancy! I love your English Yorkshire transferware. How nice that you were able to find accompanying teacups on E-bay to match your thrift store finds. You have the BEST luck at thrift stores! The scene on the transferware is lovely.
Have a great week, and enjoy Michigan's beautiful fall colors.
