Welcome everyone,
Well warm weather is finally here for awhile. We've had eighty degree weather for a few days and my roses love it! I've set a little tea under the rose bower for me to share with you.
I'm using my very special tea set that was my Grandmothers. Its a set for six and I feel so blessed to have it. I remember seeing the tea set in her china cabinet (which I have now) when I was a child. The markings are vcagco china - made in occupied Japan. It is very delicate, when I put it up to the light you can see right through it.
The walkway is the front entrance to our log home. I have a large assortment of perennials I mostly started from seed years ago. The name of the climbing rose is William Baffin, an Explorer rose. He is such a good guy, he doesn't attract bugs and he likes our cold winters! I see I need to prune him after he stops blooming. He's trying to escape the arbor!
Thank you for stopping by again. I hope you never tire of have tea with me and come visit next time!
I will be joining these lovely parties this week: Teatime Tuesday, Teacup Tuesday, Tabletop Tuesday, Tuesday Cuppa Tea, Tea in the Garden, A Return to Loveliness, Cottage Garden Party, Share Your Cup Thursday, Teacup Thursday, Simple and Sweet Fridays, Home Sweet Home, and Pink Saturday.

Hello: I am a new follower and I can't believe that I have missed you this far. When I look at your pictures and read about your tea, it is what I have seen in my mind since I was a little girl at my Grandmother's house, but for some unforseen reason I just can't get it right in reality. It is so beautiful and I'm so happy to join you and hope that you will join me at the Cottage. We would love to have you..Happy Monday..Judy
What a wonderful teaset! The maker is Ucago, and the being made in Occupied Japan makes it even more special! Dates it to 1945-1952. And what a lovely chintz pattern. Perfect for a garden tea! Thanks so much for sharing your family tea treasure and linking to Tuesday Cuppa Tea!

Gorgeous! I think the 80's temps are perfect! We've slipped into the 90's and will go higher later this week - early mornings are my time now in the garden! Your garden is so lovely and that tea set - amazing - how wonderful you now have it and the hutch! I do appreciate you sharing with A Return to Loveliness,

What a lovely garden! I enjoyed seeing all your flowers, but most especially that beautiful tea set. How wonderful to have this sentimental set and use it in such a setting.
Your lush garden has me turning green - decidedly! Hopeful for something in that nature for my own teas this summer. A lovely vintage tea set all the more special because it belonged to your grandmother. And, it is well cared for by virtue of its condition. So is your garden!
Joy!

Love your garden, your Tea pot and cups are just so pretty..it's nice to have things passed down...Mom has a China set and I'm 54 and she just recently told me it's down in the basement in crates...I'm dying to go dig it out. It's suppose to be roses..It was sent from Japan when my father was in the navy...have a lovely Friday and evening with love Janice
I would not tire of having tea with you. I've gone back and had tea with you in your many tea venues and been thrilled with each. You must live in a little slice of paradise. Beyond beautiful. I'm now following and found your post at Rooted in Thyme. Hope you'll stop over and visit me at Quirky Vistas.
