Well warm weather is finally here for awhile. We've had eighty degree weather for a few days and my roses love it! I've set a little tea under the rose bower for me to share with you.
I'm using my very special tea set that was my Grandmothers. Its a set for six and I feel so blessed to have it. I remember seeing the tea set in her china cabinet (which I have now) when I was a child. The markings are vcagco china - made in occupied Japan. It is very delicate, when I put it up to the light you can see right through it.
The walkway is the front entrance to our log home. I have a large assortment of perennials I mostly started from seed years ago. The name of the climbing rose is William Baffin, an Explorer rose. He is such a good guy, he doesn't attract bugs and he likes our cold winters! I see I need to prune him after he stops blooming. He's trying to escape the arbor!
