In The Garden With Claudette

Hi everyone,  we are having beautiful summer weather and I am hoping it stays for a long while!  For tea time  this week I wanted to share a tea set I feel so fortunate to have found.

The table is set close by my Hollyhocks and Shasta daisies with lots of Queen Ann Lace intermingling!

I found the sweet teapot at a thrift store a few years ago for $9.00!  The teapot is named "Claudette", made  by Wm. Adams & Sons, England.

I was surprised to find the two teacups and saucers on Ebay  this month for only $18.00 and free shipping.

If you had stopped by I would have shared my salad with you!

And a cup of tea!

Thank you so much for visiting!  Hoping you have a wonderful week!

I will be joining the following parties:  Tea Time Tuesday,  Tea in the Garden,  Tuesday Cuppa Tea, and Teacup Tuesday.

  1. I LOVE that tea set! So unique...and intriguing. Would like to know just who this "Claudette" is! Such a lovely lady. Thank you for the invitation. The salad looks scrumptious! It would be such fun to have a tea party with you. Someday!

  2. Hi Nancy, Your tea set is really beautiful! Love it! I think you found a great bargain. Your white garden (do you call it a "moon garden?") is so pretty. What a gorgeous tea today, in a beautiful garden. Have a good week my friend! :)

  3. Your garden is a delight, Nancy. There is just something special about white blooms and the QAL always blends in so sweetly. You got yourself a real bargain with the matching teacups to your teapot. What a pretty pattern. Isn't it fun when we find matching pieces? Your salad looks wonderful. I love a good salad especially on a hot day like we're having right now. Would love to join you for a cup of tea among all that beauty. Thank you for joining me, dear friend, and have a lovely day.

    Hugs,
    Sandi

  4. Oh what a romantic setting, Nancy, for your tea today! I would love to have a salad with you at your pretty table and enjoy the view of your pretty garden.
What a deal on fining the teacups to match your teapot. I recognize the style of The Adams pattern, as I am using an Adams plate at my tea today. My pattern is called Brentwood, and I do love it. I'd love to have a teapot to match my dishes!
Enjoy your wonderful weather before Fall comes along.

  5. How lovely! I'm also hoping that the summer weather will stick around for a while before the cooler fall temperatures creep in.
