Hello and welcome! Hope you are enjoying the lovely month of June. My lilacs are finally blooming! I am so happy to be able to have tea with the lilacs. My white lilacs at home are always the first to bloom. I set the tea table among the blossoms not only for the sweet smell, but also to see the many butterflies that are enjoying the flowers.
I am so glad you can join me for tea. I am serving strawberries and whipped cream along with the tea.
I am using my red transferware dishes I found in Florida last winter. The Windsor teapot is filled with Windsor Gardens English Breakfast tea.
The teacups and saucers are Vista by Mason.
The bowls and sweet creamer are by Taylor Smith.
My garden fairy is enjoying the day reading a book among the lilacs.
Thank you for coming to tea! Come back next week and we'll have tea by the purple lilacs at the little farm.
This week I will be joining the following parties: Tea Time Tuesday, Tea In The Garden, A Return To Loveliness, Tuesday Cuppa Tea, Teacup Tuesday, Garden Style Party, Share Your Cup Thursday, Simple and Sweet Fridays, Home Sweet Home, and Show and Tell Friday.
Nancy, I love your transferware on the white tablecloth with the white lilacs. So beautiful! The strawberries and cream look delicious and pretty too.

ReplyDeletep.s I planted morning glories last year and something ate mine, too! That's why, this year I thought I'd try the galvanized tub to see if that helps. It seems to be working.
What a lovely teascape. I think tea in the garden with the fairies and lilacs must be very close to perfect. Lovely red transferware and strawberries!!! Happy Tea Day!

What a lovely setting for outdoor tea! I would have to wear my long white lacey dress and bonnet and bring along my croquet set for some sedate fun afterwards!
ReplyDeleteHi Nancy,
ReplyDeleteThis is a lovely spot to set the table for a garden tea!
The white lilacs are quite a view, I only have purple ones which are now already flowerless.
And your red transferware set looks perfect in this setting!

Nancy, absolutely gorgeous! I had a white lilac at my previous home. It was a start from one of my dear sisters. Seeing yours makes me realize I must plant one here. My lilacs are through blooming, but my roses are lovely right now. Thanks for sharing with SYC.
