Pink Morning Tea

Hello, I hope you all had a good weekend!  We had our first warm weekend for spring!  We stayed overnight at the farm  and thought I'd share some more pink to brighten our day!

It's a gray morning and cold. A good time to linger over  a pot of Northwest Breakfast Tea by Market Spice.  I am using mismatched china I've collected over the years.

I hope you are enjoying my tea time today.  Praying you have a wonderful day and do come back soon!

I'll be joining the following parties this week:  Tea Time Tuesday, Friends Sharing Tea, Teacup Tuesday, Tuesday Cuppa Tea, A Return to Loveliness, Share Your Cup Thursday, Home Sweet Home, Simple and Sweet Fridays, and Show and Tell Friday.

  6. Even though mismatched, the china seems to go well together. I would never have thought to do that. My mismatched cups are being used in my laundry room to scoop laundry products right now. Hmmm...maybe I should bring them out sometime and try this idea...

What a pretty tray for tea time! Love your mis-matched teacup and saucer; the cup is darling. I love your soft pink chenille bedspread too and your rose is the perfect match to it. Those little purses hanging overhead are very cute. Thank you for joining me for tea today and have a delightful week, my friend.

  14. Hi Two Cottages and Tea,
I actually have that same saucer and I have been searching for the matching teacup! I found the saucer at a little thrift shop and had to have it because of the pale pink background and deep pink roses. I just love your white tray and serviette!

Thank you for the kind comment.

  16. This tea cup is pretty, and I especially love the pink saucer with the pink roses. I just bought my daughter a tray that looks alot like this at Christmas. I got mine at Pier 1 Imports.

Aaaahhh, tea time....what would we do without it?

  18. Hi, I found you on Show and Tell Friday. I realized that I'm always clicking on to your posts from week to week so I decided I just needed to follow you, so I am! Lovely photos and that fruit teacup and saucer in your header got my attention. Isn't that a Johnson Bros. pattern? I almost bought a partial set of that pattern a couple of years ago. Have a great week and I hope you will come visit my blog as well.

  22. Your charming tea-tray reminds me of a sweet story I read as a child---the writer's mother "took in a few boarders" to supplement the family's income. Miss Sally had come to them several years before, and lived on a pension check from her late husband's employer.

Miss Sally brought some of her own lovely things, and one of the items was a cunning little tea set with roses and even little buds for the finials of the pot and sugar bowl. The young girl loved to take the tray in for Miss Sally's breakfast in bed, and was delighted to wash up the items because of their fragile beauty.

I'm following and will look forward to more of your delightful scenes and decor.
