Harvest Tea Time

Hi everyone, hope you had a good week!  Thanks for coming by for Tea!

I started to take out my fall decorations seeing its September and the autumn season is upon us with the cool weather we've been having.  I thought I'd do tea in front of my potting shed where you can get a peek of my four square garden in the background.

I'm using a small quilt today for the table covering and teacup and plate I found at a thrift store.  The cup and saucer is Nasco Fruit Festival pattern, and the plate  is Autumn's Delight by Johnson Bros.  I found them at different stores, but they match great to me.  I just love the calico pattern and the fruit motif is perfect for the harvest season.  The teapot is filled with Carrington English Breakfast tea, a nice mellow black tea.

I'm going to enjoy another old issue of Victoria magazine.  They don't ever seem to go out of fashion.  The little watering can is a favorite of mine, a gift from my Daughter-in-law and Son.  The verse on it is so sweet.

Hope you enjoyed my first Autumn tea for this year!  Please come by for tea next week and thank you so much for visiting me.

I'll be joining the following lovely parties:  Teatime Tuesday, Teacup Tuesday, Tuesday Cuppa Tea, Tabletop Tuesday, A Return to Loveliness, Tea in the Garden, Cottage Garden Party, Share Your Cup Thursday, Teacup Thursday, Sweet and Simple Fridays, Home Sweet Home, Show and Tell Fridays and Saturday Showoff.
