Shabby Chic Mantel

Today I'm sharing some pictures of my tiny farm cottage fireplace.  Its so much fun to decorate because  it has a large corner mantel.  The inscription on the fireplace says "May the soft winds of heaven blow gently through this home. "  I thought it was appropriate because the cottage is directly across an open field and there is usually a brisk breeze outside. 

 I bought the platter at a resale shop and I love my angel with such a sweet face.  Lastly, isn't this baby butterfly precious?  She may just spend the winter somewhere in the cottage!  Thank you for stopping by!
