Yesterday was our first real nice day (about 70 degrees) in May, so I decided to take a little time out to enjoy tea in my yard.
I took my old storybook about the months of the year to read what it says about May. I do have the cowslips, primroses, lily-of-the-valley and birch trees as mentioned in the poem, but not all blooming yet!
I found the applique tablecloth a long time ago at a thrift store, and also the tea/coffee set.
Charleston Tea Plantation, American Classic Tea in the Grindley & Co. teapot and brown sugar cookies for a treat.
Thank you so much for stopping by! I am sure June will be a better month for garden tea parties!
I will be joining the following parties this week: Bernideen's Tea In The Garden and Ruth's Tuesday Cuppa Tea.
