Red Transferware Christmas

Hello everyone!  Happy December to you and thank you for visiting!

Last summer I bought a used tea cart and today I had fun decorating it for the Christmas season.

The tea cart is all ready for holiday guests.  A coffee pot, hot chocolate pot, and two teapots to hold special holiday tea's.

Cranberry orange scones and bread pudding in the tureen for tea today.

Not much snow so far.  That's okay with me as long as it snows on Christmas Eve!

I bought the red toile Christmas quilt at Homegoods last year and this year I found the sweet set of four dessert plates there.  The plates are made by 222 Fifth and named Poinsettia Toile.  I love the quaint scene!

I am hoping you all are having a blessed Christmas season!  Merry Christmas early to you!

P.S.  Life is very busy for me helping to take care of my family, so I will be posting only as time permits in the New Year.  Wishing you a wonderful New year!

I will be joining the following parties this week:  Bernideen's Tea Time, Cottage and Garden.

A Late October Walk Into The Woods

Welcome and come with me for a walk in the woods.

Into the woods a scurrying  I heard.  Before I knew it a table appeared.

It was laden with teaware, a little sp00ky,  I fear!!

A part of a cookie was all that was left, but the tiny woodland creatures were enjoying that!

The tea was still warm, the teacup half full, as though someone left very swiftly I'm sure!

The wind started howling and lighting struck quick.  As fast as I could I fled from the woods!

Before I knew it I awoke from my nap.  Hoping I'd never dream again about that!!

Thank you for walking with me in the woods!

I will be joining the following parties this week:  Tea Time Tuesday,  Friends Sharing Tea, and Share Your Cup Thursday.

Brown Transferware For Fall

Hello and welcome!  Fall weather is here to stay for a while and it sure has been cool lately!  Today I am staying inside and sharing with you my collection of brown transferware.   I started collecting transferware about the time I started this blog, about four years ago!  I know so many of you collect transferware and I love seeing what you have!  We live in a log cottage and the brown colors of the transferware add a nice touch of country warmth.

Most of my brown transferware is here in my little Welch cupboard.

The top shelf holds most of my Windsor Ware by Johnson Bros.  The china dogs were given to my dear son when he was very young, by his grandmother.

The middle shelf holds more of the Windsor Ware along with more transferware.

This teapot is named England's Heritage, made by H. Aynsley & Co.

And this teapot is named Royal Mail, by Myott.

The dishes on the buffet shelf are mostly my collection of  Olde English Countryside, by Johnson Bros.

I've had lots of fun looking for brown transferware!

Now, please choose a teacup and I'll put the kettle on!

Thank you so much for visiting and have a wonderful week!

Tea In The Potting Shed

Hello friends, this week for tea time we are having tea in my potting shed. Our fall weather has been beautiful, but with lots of wind!  The potting shed is close to my log cottage so it is easy to bring a tray out and enjoy the extra warmth and sunshine in the glass sided shed.

Before tea I had to clear off the little table filled with potting shed essentials and Chinese lanterns I recently picked from my garden.

A crochet tablecloth and newly purchased mums,  Now we are ready for the tea tray!

I'm using this sweet teacup and saucer by Johnson Brothers named Bouquet.

The plate is a good match made by Myott, named swing time.

My sturdy country teapot is not marked.

Yummy oatmeal cookies and tea in a cozy earthly place!  An ideal time to reflect on this years garden and dream of next year's flower garden!

Thank you for stopping by and wishing you have a wonderful week!

I will be joining the following parties:  Tea Time Tuesday,  Tea In The Garden, and Teacup Tuesday.
